Avance Debt Collectors and
the Truth About Your Debt

The debt collectors will attempt to ruin your life because they will
make bigger profits by doing this. They will try unsavoury methods,
even if it is unlawful to do so. It is a vicious profit-driven business
run by people without conscience who are told they must achieve targets..
If you are trying to deal with Avance Debt Collectors then you must
take action for yourself. Unless the laws we have are properly implemented
many people will have their lives ruined.
Some debt collecting firms are far worse than others. Some DCAs deal
in sending off thousands of suppositional letters telling people that
they owe money when they know full well they owe nothing at all. This
tactic seems to work well for the debt collection firms because they
realize that some folk always give way when bullied although they realize
that they are not indebted to anyone. Several of the debt collecting
companies purchase information about lists of debtor accounts over six
years out of date and try to profit from these. But the problem here
is that it is illegal. They are classified as Statute Barred debts,
and they cannot be legally enforced.
You may call into question the validity of the debt by making a sar
as a foil to Avance Debt Collectors. The owner of the alleged debt (the
bank or the debt collecting agency) is obliged to send you a true copy
of the original credit agreement if that contract was made before 6th
April 2007. If they fail to do this they are breaking the consumer credit
act, and the alleged debt is then said to be in dispute. While this
situation exists they must not ask for any money (if they do so they
are breaking the law again) and they must not sell it on to a third
party (which many do nevertheless). As long as this situation exists
it may not be enforced, even by a court. There is a series of letters
you can follow up with to reinforce this. Or you can get a lawyer to
help you, because it can be a strain doing it all by yourself. There
are also specialist legal firms professing their services in this field.
Assuming that you are having to cope with Avance Debt Collectors then
you may be reassured that a lot of the things that they are using to
distress you are illegal or are close to being so. These debt collecting
companies or DCAs appear to be under very little obligation to do anything
about improving their behaviour until ordered to do so by the OFT (Office
of Fair Trading) or similar organisation.
So ask Avance Debt Collectors
for a copy of the original contract when you took out your loan or credit
card.
Even better, start
an unenforceable
credit agreement application here. If you want to check, in addition,
missold PPI and recover all the credit card charges you've paid over
the last 6 years (plus 8% interest) it costs an upfront fee of only
£99 for a full audit to see what you're entitled to. Click
